Tomorrow is New Year』s Day, my family have had a completely cleaning for two days. Then my father and I decorated our flat and my mother cooked delicious food for our meal. After supper we watched TV program. How happy we were!

The day after yesterday I received 2000 yuan from my relatives as my pocket money. I was so happy but my father and mother said that I should give a half to them and the rest would be my pocket money in one year. 「what!」 I shouted.

The winter holiday began today. The Spring Festival will come soon. So my sister and I decided to help our mother to clean the room.
In the afternoon we began the cleaning. We first sted the walls. The walls turned white soon, but the tables and floor were covered with st. Then I cleaned the tables while my sister swept the floor. The room became bright and clean. We were very happy.
Then my sister did some washing. With my help, my sister first washed clothes, then some shoes.
Finally, we finished the work. "What time is it now?" she asked. "Oh, it's six o'clock! It is time for Mum to come home. We must prepare the supper. Be quick!" I said. Just then our mother came in. When she saw the room clean and bright she was very happy. "You are my good daughters!" she said with a smile on her face.
Now I was very tired, but I was very happy, because I had done something tbr my mother.

One Sunday my mother (Mother) had (made) me take my little young brother to the a trip to the country. She bade me take good care of him.
While we were walking along the road, the sun was shining brightly and the breeze was blowing gently. We saw the beautiful flowers smile (smiling) at us and heard the birds sing (singing) their sweet songs on the trees. The scenery was indeed very pretty (beautiful).
When we felt tired, we returned home. We saw Mother (our mother) wait (waiting) for us at the door.

After reading this wonderful story, I can feel love, brave, deep friendship and some other good spirits in the people.
From this story, we can see Dorothy is a brave and kind-hearted girl. She killed the two bad witches in Oz; she helped the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion to go to the Emerald City to find the Wizard and get what they want. She solved problems when they met difficulties. It』s really not easy for such a little girl.
The Scarecrow wanted some brains, but on the way to the Emerald City, he thought out of a way to cross the river. The Cowardly Lion wanted to be brave, but when they met the river, he carried other friends to jump across it. And the Tin Man wanted a heart, he said he couldn』t love, but he didn』t want to hurt any animal. This week I mostly stayed at home and did some homework.

Though my daily life is extremely monotonous, I try hard to adapt myself to it. Why? Because I intend to be a good student. I wish to render service to my country.
I get up at six o』clock every day. After I wash my face and brush my teeth, I begin to review my lessons. I go to school at seven o』clock.
After school is over, I return home. We usually have supper at seven o』clock.Then I begin to do my homework. I want to finish it before I go to bed.
雖然我的日常生活十分單調，但我卻竭力設法去適應它。為什麼？因為我打算做一個好學生，希望將來為國家服務。

Secondly, he must remember to improve his health. Only a strong man can do great tasks. Thirdly, he should receive moral ecation. If his conct is not good, no one will consider making friends with him.

Reading is a good thing, but we must pay great attention to the choice of books. It is true that we can derive benefits from good books. However, bad books will do us more harm than good.

I had an unforgettable trip to Cambridge today.
The weather was fine today. My classmates and I went on a guided trip to Cambridge by coach. It took us about three hours to get there.
As soon as we got there, we were divided into several groups, with a professional guide to show us around. First, we were shown the King』s College, whose chapel (禮拜堂) impressed me most. It is the most spectacular (壯觀的) building that I have ever seen. Then we visited other places such as Trinity College, and Fitzwilliam Museum. In the end, we walked along the Cambridge river and enjoyed the beautiful view.
Although tired, I spent the most exciting day in my life. I hope one day I can study in Cambridge University — my dream college.
