A. 自然景物的英語單詞

一、教學重點

本課時需要重點掌握有關自然景物的單詞:flower, grass, river, lake, forest, mountain, sky, cloud, path

能夠熟練運用There be句型說出某處有某物。

二、教學難點

熟練運用There be句型表達存在句式。

本課時的生詞較多,教師應充分利用視頻材料及圖片讓學生大量的練習,以便較好掌握。

三、課前准備

四、教學過程

1.Warm—up (熱身)

⑴ 唱一唱

教師播放C部分的Let』s sing的錄音,讓學生聽幾遍後逐漸跟唱。教師在播放錄音時可出示一些熊貓的圖片或一些有關熊貓的視頻資料,讓學生有感性的認識,從而也提高學生學習的興趣。教師也可製作一些圖片:mountain, forest, panda, bamboo,在聽歌曲的同時教師把這些圖片逐一貼到黑板上,讓學生在唱歌的同時對歌曲的內容有大概的了解,對歌曲中的單詞有所認識,為下面知識的學習做好鋪墊。

⑵ 口語練習

教師出示第五單元Let』s try部分的掛圖。教師用問句提示:What』s in the room? What』s near the closet? What』s behind the door? What』s over the bed? 待學生回答後,教師示範mirror in the room.介紹房間,之後請學生用There be的句型來描述該部耐宏分的房間圖。

2.Presentation (新課呈現)

⑴ Let』s start

教師出襲滲示Let』s start部分的第一幅圖,說: 「Look! This is the sky. What color is it?」引導學生做出回答。然後教師手指下面一幅圖的天空說:Look at picture 2. This is the sky. What color is it? 引導學生做出回答,教師繼續問:」What can you see in picture 1/2? 指導學生分別作答。教師問:Which picture do you like? 引導學生回答並進入本課的教學。教師注意適時進行環境保護教育。教師接著說:「那我們今天就來學習Nature park, 我們來看一看Nature park裡面都有什麼,是不是很美呢?

⑵ Let』s learn

①教師出示事先做好的課件,課件的內容為sky, cloud, flower, river, grass, lake, forest, mountain, path等畫面逐一呈現,在畫面呈現的同時,同時伴有這些單詞的發音,學生可在看課件的同時跟讀這些單詞,使學生在感官上有所認識,對今天所學的單詞有了最初步的'了解。在這些畫面全播完後最後組成了美麗的Nature park.

昌禪冊② 教師接下來還可利用單詞卡片、畫簡筆畫、猜謎、聽音等多種形式來學習這些新詞,進一步加深和理解這些單詞。幫助學生正確理解、認讀。在教學的同時注意mountain, cloud, flower等詞的發音。

③教師可播放單詞的錄音,讓學生在聽過一遍後跟讀單詞,逐步掌握正確的讀音。

④教師繼續展示前面的課件。提問:」What』s in the nature park」? 課件中的sky, cloud, flower, river, grass, lake, forest, mountain, path畫面還是逐一出現,引導學生給出答案,並引導學生逐步給出完整回答:There is a lake / mountain / forest / river / grass / flower / path in the nature park.

⑤ 試著寫單詞。教師示範寫出四會單詞,讓學生跟寫或在單詞卡片背面仿寫,達到聽、說、讀、寫四會掌握新詞的目的。

3.Let』s play (趣味操練)

⑴ 畫一畫

請學生拿出事先准備好的畫紙和畫筆,讓學生自己設計一個自然公園,以小組為單位先說一說自己的設想,然後用英語介紹,比一比誰設計的公園最好。如:Look at my picture/Look at this nature park. There is a river in the nature park. The water is clean. It』s so beautiful.

⑵ 找一找

教師出示Let』s find out中的第一幅圖,請同學根據所看到的內容描述圖畫:There is a mountain / forest / river / grass in the nature park. 然後以同樣的方法出示2—4幅圖,請同學來描述圖畫。最後把四幅圖歸納在一起,鼓勵學生找出幾幅圖的區別並用恰當的語言表達出來。

4.Consolidation and extension (鞏固與拓展)

⑴ 練一練

做本單元A Let』s learn 部分的活動手冊配套練習。

⑵ 出示Let』s find out中的四幅圖,請同學來描述其中的一幅圖,讓同學猜一猜他說的是哪一幅圖,看看哪位同學聽得最清楚,找的最快。

⑶ 讓學生把新學的歌曲唱給家長或朋友聽。

過程與方法:採用自主學習、小組合作探究、 Classifying, Contrasting, Comprehending in context和 Role—playing 的學習策略,利用教學圖片、幻燈片、教學視頻 ( 導入詢問能力的VCR 《What can Gogo do?》 ) 或製作課件 ( 反映課內外活動 ) 等來展開課堂教學、 pairwork 問答式的口語交際活動或游戲等小組活動,進行 「詢問和談論個人能力」 的課堂教學和練習。

Ⅱ.Presentation

Show a short video about Gogo 「What can Gogo do?」.

T: Today we』ll meet a new friend, Gogo. Now we』ll watch a short video to know about Gogo.

T: Do you like Gogo? Can you sing? This class, we』ll learn how to show ourselves.

(Show the pictures of eight abilities on the screen. Learn the names of the abilities: sing, swim, dance, draw, speak English, play chess, play the guitar and play basketball. Learn the sentences of asking abilities: Can you sing? Yes, I can/ No, I can』t; Can he speak English? Yes, he can/ No, he can』t. )

Ⅲ. Playing a game

T: Let』s watch the video about Gogo again, but this time we』ll play a game. You should find out what can Gogo do and answer my questions.

T: I can sing. I can swim. I can play chess. But I can』t dance. When we talk about something we can , we use 「can」 plus 「do」;

I can sing. / I can play chess/ Bob can swim. / They can play the guitar.

When we talk about something we can』t , we use 「can』t」 plus 「do」;

I can』t sing. / I can』t play chess. / Bob can』t swim. / They can』t dance.

When we ask people about their abilities, we put 「can」 ahead.

T: Can you sing, S1?

S1: Yes, I can.

T: Can you dance, S1?

S1: No, I can』t.

T: OK, S2. Can you swim?

S2: Yes, I can.

Ⅳ.Listening

T: The students are talking about different clubs in the school. Listen to the recording and circle the clubs you hear in 2a.

T: In this conversation, the students are talking about what they like and what clubs they want to join. They are Lisa, Bob and Mary. Look at the sentences below. Please read the sentences by yourselves.

T: Look, this is a conversation between Jenny and Gogo. Complete the conversation and make your own conversations.

T: Practice the conversations above with your partner.

Make a survey about what club does Gogo want to join and what can Gogo do.

Ⅸ.Homework:

總結:教師用一段視頻引入有關能力的主題和相關單詞單詞,引起學生的興趣。

教師先領讀,然後男生讀,女生讀,鏈式讀,給出漢語說英語,給出英語說漢語,最後跟讀正音。緊湊的教學環節使學生能夠全身心的投入學習中。

教師給學生播放Gogo的視頻,讓學生找出Gogo會做什麼,不會做什麼。讓學生在玩游戲的過程中,強化單詞和句型的表達。

講解情態動詞can的用法,can意為「能,會」,它是輔助動詞幫助說明能力、意願等的詞,can後跟動詞原形,並且它不隨主語人稱的變化而變化;變否定句直接在can後加「not」;變一般疑問句直接把can提前。

鼓勵學生聯系剛剛學到的句型和單詞,通過問答式的口語交際活動或游戲等小組活動,進行 「詢問和談論個人能力」 的練習。

系統的聽力訓練,在聽短文之前讓學生學先在句子中找到要點,帶著要點和問題去聽。幫助提高學生的聽力水平。

讓學生們對自己的表現及語言表達能力進行自我評價,在小組內評價,然後進行評出最優秀的小組。並鼓勵學生們下一次爭取做最優秀的小組及個人。

(四 Language points

1. Crossing the River to School

cross是動詞,「穿越,越過」,主要指「橫穿」。

還可以作名詞,意為「十字形,叉形符號」。

across既可以作介詞,也可以作副詞。

crossing 是名詞,「渡口,交叉點」。

2. For many students,it is easy to get to school.

It is +adj.+to do sth. 「做某事是.......」

3. There is a very big river between their school and the village.

between ...and... 「在....和...之間」,連接兩個並列的成分。

between/among

(1) between 用於兩者之間。

(2) among 用於三個或三個以上的人或物的「中間」。

4. But he is not afraid.

afraid: 「害怕的,畏懼的」。

(1)be afraid of sth. 害怕某事/某物

(2)be afraid to do sth. 害怕做某事

(3)be afraid of doing sth. 唯恐做某事,指擔心或擔憂做某事會引起某種後果。

(4)be afraid + that從句,恐怕....

(5)為某件已經發生或可能發生的事表示歉意或者作出否定判斷,相當於sorry.

leave主要用法歸納如下:

a. 離開; 脫離

b. 把……留在; 留下

d. 使……處於(某種狀態),後面常接賓語補足語

6. leave for+地點,「動身去某地」

7. must /have to

must多表示主觀需要或責任感的驅使有必要或有義務去做某事,多譯為「必須」,

have to多表示客觀存在的環境所限,即客觀要求(無奈)而為之,多譯為「不得不幹某事」。

這組詞的共同意思是「流水的通道」。其區別是:
