"I'm just feeling thirsty," he thought. So he backed up a few paces, got a running start, jumped up, but could not reach the grapes.
He walked back. One, two, three, he jumped up again, but still, he missed the grapes.
The fox tried again and again, but never succeeded. At last he decided to give it up.
He walked away with his nose in the air, and said“I am sure they are sour.”

The little horse asks, “Aunt Cow, please tell me. Can I cross the river ”.

A BAT who fell upon the ground and was caught by a Weasel pleaded to be spared his life. The Weasel refused, saying that he was by nature the enemy of all birds. The Bat assured him that he was not a bird, but a mouse, and thus was set free. Shortly afterwards the Bat again fell to the ground and was caught by another Weasel, whom he likewise entreated not to eat him. The Weasel said that he had a special hostility to mice. The Bat assured him that he was not a mouse, but a bat, and thus a second time escaped.
It is wise to turn circumstances to good account.

AN ASS having heard some Grasshoppers chirping, was highly enchanted; and, desiring to possess the same charms of melody, demanded what sort of food they lived on to give them such beautiful voices. They replied, "The dew." The Ass resolved that he would live only upon dew, and in a short time died of hunger.

A LION was awakened from sleep by a Mouse running over his face. Rising up angrily, he caught him and was about to kill him, when the Mouse piteously entreated, saying: "If you would only spare my life, I would be sure to repay your kindness." The Lion laughed and let him go. It happened shortly after this that the Lion was caught by some hunters, who bound him by strong ropes to the ground. The Mouse, recognizing his roar, came and gnawed the rope with his teeth and set him free, exclaiming:
"You ridiculed the idea of my ever being able to help you, expecting to receive from me any repayment of your favor; now you know that it is possible for even a Mouse to con benefits on a Lion."

A CHARCOAL-BURNER carried on his trade in his own house. One day he met a friend, a Fuller, and entreated him to come and live with him, saying that they should be far better neighbors and that their housekeeping expenses would be lessened. The Fuller replied, "The arrangement is impossible as far as I am concerned, for whatever I should whiten, you would immediately blacken again with your charcoal."

When they had done so, he placed the faggot into the hands of each of them in succession, and ordered them to break it in pieces. They tried with all their strength, and were not able to do it. He next opened the faggot, took the sticks separately, one by one, and again put them into his sons' hands, upon which they broke them easily. He then addressed them in these words: "My sons, if you are of one mind, and unite to assist each other, you will be as this faggot, uninjured by all the attempts of your enemies; but if you are divided among yourselves , you will be broken as easily as these sticks."

A FISHERMAN skilled in music took his flute and his nets to the seashore. At last, having long waited in vain, he laid aside his flute, and casting his net into the sea, made an excellent haul of fish. A CARTER was driving a wagon along a country lane, when the wheels sank down deep into a rut. Hercules, it is said, appeared and thus addressed him: "Put your shoulders to the wheels, my man. Goad on your bullocks, and never more pray to me for help, until you have done your best to help yourself, or depend upon it you will henceforth pray in vain."

The Miser, on his next visit, found the hole empty and began to tear his hair and to make loud lamentations. A neighbor, seeing him overcome with grief and learning the cause, said, "Pray do not grieve so; but go and take a stone, and place it in the hole, and fancy that the gold is still lying there. It will do you quite the same service; for when the gold was there, you had it not, as you did not make the slightest use of it."

地点：树林
人物：哈利、仙度拉、巫师、村长、众村民
【哈利上场】
哈利：好重啊！这一万个金币真重啊！
Harry: Very heavy! These 10,000 gold coins are very heavy!
【巫师怪声音出】
[The strange sound appear ]
哈利：好恐怖喔！难道是恶魔吗？赶快跑！
Harry: So horrible! A devil? Run quickly
（故意留下袋子，跑去旁边躲起来，巫师跑出来拿钱，哈利发出怪声音说）
(Leaving the sack on purpose, run to nearby to hide from, the witch runs out and takes the money, Harry emit the strange sound and say)
【村民怪声音】
哈利：呜呜呜….是谁敢来我的地盘！
Harry: Wu! -. Who dares to come in my domain!
巫师：啊！….不会是真的有恶魔吧？
Witch: Oh! A devil? Really?
哈利：甚麼恶魔！可恶！我是山神！我要把你变青蛙！
Harry: What devil! I am the mountain god! I will turn you into a frog!
巫师：不要哇！我….我…是不小心走进来的。
Witch: Oh! No! I didn’t mean to come in.
哈利：虔诚的向我朝拜！（巫师快速地拜拜）你睁开眼睛不够诚心喔！（巫
师闭上眼睛拜拜）
Harry:Bend your knees and worship me.(witch visits and visits fast) Don’t open your eyes! (witch closes eyes to visit and visit)
巫师：我是真诚的，请相信我！
Witch: I am sincere, please believe me!
哈利：你得闭著眼睛趴在地上，这样我才相信你是真心的。（巫师按照哈利所说的话做，然后众村民出现）
Harry: You must lie prone closing eyes on the ground, in this way I believe that you are wholehearted . (witch is according to make by what Harry say, then Harry appeared ), (all persons rush up in a crowd)
村长：原来所有的事都是你一手策划的啊！巫师！
Village head: You planned all these things alone! witch!
村长：巫师！你怎麼可以为了宝藏而害大家呢？
Village head: Witch! How can you hurt everybody for the treasure?
仙度拉：其实集集的宝藏就是这些老树。
Sandra: In fact, the treasureof Ji-Ji are these old trees.
威廉：为什麼？
William: Why?
哈利：知识就是力量啊！因为许多动物及植物在老树生活或进出，这些老树就像我们的好
朋友，除了让我们遮阳避雨外，树叶可以当有机肥料，且大树的涵水量高，可以涵
养水源，而且根部抓土深，可以避免土石流，所以集集的宝藏就是这些樟树木，树
木是守护集集的力量，我们应该保护它才对。
Harry: Knowledge is the power! Because the animals and plants live or pass in and out on the old trees, these old trees are just like our good friends. Besides, the trees let us sunshade and take shelter from rain and their leaves can act as the organic fertilizer. Moreover, big trees can contain lots of water and conserve the source of water. They also catch the soil deeply so they can prevent from mudslide. So the treasure of Ji-Ji are these camphor trees. They are the patron saints of Ji-Ji and we should protect them.
巫师：我错了！原来我这麼笨，不晓得树木对我们的贡献，请给再我一次机会，我愿意当
森林志工，保护树木。
Witch: I am wrong! I am so stupid! Now I know that these trees are so important for us. Please give me one more chance, I would like to act as the forest annals worker to protect them.
村长：哈利！谢谢你！你真的是第一名勇士，我们以你为荣（大家举起哈利庆祝）
Village head: Harry! Thank you! You are the best warrior. We are all proud of you. (everybody lifts his card to celebrate)
